After
6 and a half years of friendship and dating, and after asking for our
parents' blessing, we are glad to announce that We're Engaged! :)
Boe proposed to Arne on a weekend trip to Hanoi, Vietnam last September 2012 at Halong Bay while on a night cruise. The trip was made to celebrate their 6th anniversary. The engagement was not expected. He proposed. She said, Yes.:)
The Story:
It was exactly 9:20pm, He asked her to come with him at the deck. Then, he said, "Maganda ba ang view?", she said, "Oo..". "Masaya ka ba?" he asked again, "Oo naman, anong nangyayari sayo?" she replied anxiously. Then, he knelt down on one knee, facing her with an enchanting smile, blushing slightly, he revealed the hidden gift from his back. She was shocked. Her cheeks started to redden, started shaking, and said, "Anooo toooo?!?". He said, "Open it". She was surprised. It was a teddy bear holding a box. When she opened it, it was a diamond ring nestled snugly into the velvet lining of the case. He said, "Ga, will you marry me?". Looking at the ring, she didn't utter any word at first. The ring was so elegant so pure. It was like her calling. Her face clouded with emotion – love. Teary-eyed, her face broke into a rare smile, and said "Oo naman." He stood up facing her. He inserted the ring onto her finger. She hugged him. They kissed. She was his, forever his.:)
